    Trials tickets going on sale!

Tickets for Halifax Canadian Curling Trials on the Road to 2026 on sale Oct. 3

Fans from across the country have been asking the question — how can they get on the Road to 2026 going through Nova Scotia?

Today, we have the answer: ticket packages for the 2025 Canadian Curling Trials, Nov. 22-30 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax go on sale Thursday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. AT.

The Trials will decide Canada’s four-player women’s and men’s teams (pending Canada’s qualification) for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Italy, and will be returning to the same venue that hosted the Trials in 2005, when a fresh-faced Brad Gushue prevailed en route to winning gold in 2006 in Italy.

It’s expected demand for tickets will be extremely high, so fans will need to act quickly to nail down their preferred seats for the most pressure-packed and high-stakes event in Canadian four-player curling.

Here’s a look at what will be available next week:

    • Full Event Package ($500-$570) — Each package includes a single ticket to all draws. Home End premium seats will be exclusively available as full-event ticket packages only until Dec. 31, 2024.
    • Playoff Package ($240-$276) — A single ticket to all semifinal and best-of-three final series games from Thursday, Nov. 27 to Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
    • Opening Weekend Package ($90-$140) — A single ticket to the first five draws, set for Saturday, Nov. 22, and Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025,
    • Weekday Package ($60-$78) — A single ticket to all three draws on either Monday, Nov, 24; Tuesday, Nov. 25; or Wednesday, Nov. 26.

All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees.

Eight men’s and women’s teams will be competing in Halifax, with a round-robin format leading to the playoffs that will feature, for the first time, a best-of-three final. All full-event and playoff ticket packages include admission to the third and deciding games, if necessary.

In addition to getting your preferred seats, another reason to buy early is the availability of optional payment plans for Full Event and Playoff Packages until Dec. 31, 2024, with the following terms:

    • 50 per cent due at time of purchase
    • 50 per cent due April 15, 2025

Tickets will be available online at Ticketmaster or curling.ca/tickets. The customer support phone line is 902-451-1221 or toll-free 1-877-451-1221. For in-person sales, the Scotiabank Centre Box Office windows are open on event days approximately 90 minutes prior to events.

The qualifying process for the four-player Trials was announced last year, and has determined two women ’s and two men’s teams that will be competing in Halifax:

    Women

    •          Team Rachel Homan (Ottawa)

    •          Team Chelsea Carey (formerly Team Jennifer Jones; Winnipeg)

    Men

    •          Team Brad Gushue (St. John’s, N.L.)

    •          Team Brad Jacobs (formerly Team Brendan Bottcher; Calgary)

All roads to the 2026 Winter Olympics will go through Nova Scotia. The 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials Dec. 30-Jan. 4 in Liverpool, N.S., is the first stop on the Road to 2026, and tickets for the Mixed Doubles Trials went on sale last earlier this month.

The Road to 2026 will continue in the fall of 2025 with the Canadian Curling Pre-Trials, Oct. 20-26 at the Andrew H. McCain Arena in Wolfville, N.S., where the final women’s and men’s qualifiers will be decided for the 2025 Canadian Curling Trials.

And next Thursday at 10 a.m. AT will also be the first chance for fans to purchase ticket packages for the Pre-Trial. Full-event packages will be available for an early bird special price of $265, including all taxes and fees. That special won’t last long, so fans need to act fast.

Weekend packages will go on sale later in the fall. Tickets will be available for purchase at eventsacadia.ca.

Once the Trials winners are declared in mixed doubles and four-player formats, they will be formally nominated to the Canadian Olympic Committee to compete at the 2026 Olympics.

Canada still needs to qualify to compete in all three disciplines at the Olympics, but is in good position to do so based on results this past season.

Single-draw tickets for the Pre-Trials and Trials will go on sale later in 2025 after television and draw schedules have been finalized.

Volunteer information will be available on each event website. Fans are encouraged to sign up on the Curling Canada Collective to receive updates.
