Terms and Conditions

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS**

Before attending an event at Scotiabank Centre, please ensure you and your group review Scotiabank Centre's Terms and Conditions.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic and is extremely contagious, mainly through person-to-person contact. Federal, provincial, and local governments and health agencies recommend social distancing and have issued guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19.

While measures are in place to adhere to public health guidance in Nova Scotia, Events East Group, which operates Scotiabank Centre on behalf of the Halifax Regional Municipality as well as Ticket Atlantic, cannot guarantee that you, or any member of your party, who attends an event at our venue will not become infected with COVID-19.

By purchasing a ticket for an event at Scotiabank Centre, you are accepting these terms and conditions and agree to adhere to any federal, provincial or municipal health and safety directives, including, but not limited to social distancing requirements and venue-specific health and safety protocols. You agree that you will follow venue protocols and safety directives.

As you are purchasing tickets on behalf of a group, you are agreeing to be the primary point of contact for all members of your group, should contact tracing be required. We recommend that you inform each individual within your group of the terms and conditions and venue protocols prior to attending the event.

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that exposure to or contraction of COVID-19 may result in serious injury, permanent disability or death, and voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending an event at Scotiabank Centre with full knowledge of the risk that you or an individual within your group may be exposed to, or infected by, COVID-19. You agree to waive, release and hold harmless Events East Group, employees, agents, representatives, Halifax Regional Municipality and the Province of Nova Scotia, of and from all claims, liability, actions, damages, costs or expenses arising out of or attributable to your group's attendance at an event at Scotiabank Centre due to any cause whatsoever, including COVID-19.

COVID-19 Preparedness

With the ongoing concerns around COVID-19 and the recommendation from the Province of Nova Scotia to restrict public gatherings, the Scotiabank Centre is closed to events and public access until further notice. This is an unprecedented circumstance that impacts our employees and customers and we are actively working to support them during this time. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
