We can't wait to welcome you back to Scotiabank Centre. Although some things will feel a little different since your last visit, we're committed to creating an incredible, memorable experience for you at every step of the way. Starting October 3, Scotiabank Centre will be alive with excitement, offering Halifax's best live event experience.

We developed enhanced safety protocols for our safe reopening framework reviewed by public health, occupational health and safety at the Department of Labour and Advanced Education and Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage. The framework is aligned with the QMJHL return to play health and safety protocols to ensure our fans can safely enjoy the 2020-21 Halifax Mooseheads season.

As outlined by the Province of Nova Scotia, non-medical face masks must be worn by all staff and guests, unless attendees are consuming food or beverage. https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/masks/

  • Entry & Exit

Getting in and out of Scotiabank Centre will be different from usual to maintain ZONES of 200 people and keep our guests safe. Here are a few other essential things you should know.

    • DOORS – All seats are assigned a zone. When you purchase your tickets, you’ll be assigned a zone that includes a designated entrance/exit into and out of the venue.

    • NO RE-ENTRY - Once a fan has exited the venue, there is no re-entry. Please contact an usher for assistance before exiting the venue in the case of a special circumstance or emergency.

    • NO BAGS - Scotiabank Centre has put into place a no bag policy. Exceptions will be made for small, soft-sided bags and purses no larger than 14” high by 14” long and 6” wide.

    • SECURITY GATES – Security gates will be in place at most entrances eliminating the need for close-contact searches.

  • Ticketing

Our seating map for this season is designed to allow physical distancing, enable contact tracing, and support our fans' health and safety. As such, the following measures will be in place.

    • TICKETS - To help create a safe and seamless experience for our fans and staff, we have moved to a mobile-only ticketing approach. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketatlantic.com and will be sent to you via email or text. We will have more details on how to purchase your tickets soon.

    • ZONES - Physical distancing and segregated zones of no more than 200 have been incorporated into our seating plan to ensure the adequate distance between each party or group of seats in each zone.

    • BUBBLE TICKETS - Tickets will be sold in groups no fewer than 2 and no larger than 6.

    • SEATS - Fans will have the option to select their seats based on the size of their group. We will require all tickets for a seating group to be purchased by one group member.

    • PRIMARY CONTACT – As the ticket purchaser, you will be the primary contact for your group and will need to provide the names of those in your group for contact tracing if required.

  • Inside the Venue

Once you’re in the venue, there will be clear markers in your zone colour to help you navigate your dedicated space. All the fans in Scotiabank Centre will be required to stay in their assigned zone for the entire time they are in the venue. Zones will be assigned to tickets upon purchase and are based on the location of the seats in Scotiabank Centre.

    • DOORS – All seats are assigned a zone. When you purchase your tickets, you'll be assigned a zone that includes a designated entrance/exit into and out of the venue.

    • CONCESSIONS – In each zone, there will be a set menu of concessions offered that will be the same in all the zones. Concessions will be providing cashless payment options.

    • WASHROOMS – Zones will be assigned washrooms to minimize fans' crossover from different areas and include enhanced, continuous cleaning. The capacity limits for each washroom will be posted. An attendant will be stationed at each washrooms' entrance to ensure masks are worn, and capacity and physical distancing are maintained.

  • Premium Seating

In Premium Seating, we are excited to introduce you to our new enhanced service model. Over the coming weeks, we’ll provide more details on these enhancements that will take your hosting experience to the next level. In the meantime, there are a few pieces of information we’d like to share with you now.

    • DOORS – We’ve divided Premium Seating into zones with each zone having an assigned entrance/exit for you and your guests to use.

    • PRIMARY CONTACT – As the box/suite host, you will be the primary contact for your guests and will need to provide the names and contact information for your guests if contact tracing is required.

    • NO BAGS - Scotiabank Centre has put into place a no bag policy. Exceptions will be made for small, soft-sided bags and purses no larger than 14” high by 14” long and 6” wide.

    • FOOD & BEVERAGE - A new enhanced menu has been developed for Premium Seating and will soon be made available. To take advantage of these fresh food and beverage menu items, Skyboxes and executive suites hosts are asked to place their food and beverage orders 3 days prior to the event.

    • WASHROOMS - Each of the zones in Premium Seating will have its designated washroom and will include enhanced, continuous cleaning. The capacity limit for each washroom will be posted, and we ask for physical distancing and capacity limits to be maintained.

    • BOXES & SUITES - The guests in a box or suite are considered a group bubble. Party members are not allowed in other boxes, suites, zones or down on the concourse level. A mask is required in all common Premium Seating areas.

COVID-19 Preparedness

With the ongoing concerns around COVID-19 and the recommendation from the Province of Nova Scotia to restrict public gatherings, the Scotiabank Centre is closed to events and public access until further notice. This is an unprecedented circumstance that impacts our employees and customers and we are actively working to support them during this time. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
